The Story of Spanish Duet

Spanish Duet is a Song Cycle in 10 parts. Conceived at the end of a dock. Eerie calm at sunset. The water suggests someone or something else is also present. How much time is there?

In this world, the animal kingdom is enlisted to tear at time. Each individual is caught in this back and forth. At his lowest point, when he is considering letting it all slip away, the Spanish Duet is summoned to what… rescue him? It is always a question, this notion of being “rescued.” The self is split in two. The court is dismissed. The chance is a choice.

In any event, they are lovely dancers with sharp nails. Should you find yourself in times of distress, will you risk calling upon the Spanish Duet?

Give yourself over to this field of guitars, ukuleles, cellos, flutes, and more. Ten hypnotic movements to tantalize you, come hither eyes lurking in the outskirts of society.

A 27-minute musical odyssey that moves along like desirable cheesecake in a violent earthquake.
